We are second year students in media studies of Universiti Malaya. This is our final project for the subject AIM2001 News Reporting session 2021/2022.

Our online newspaper name is UM TIMES which “UM” is the acronym of Universiti Malaya while the word “TIMES” is representing our determination to catch up with the news or events which are happening around our university in order to deliver the news to our audience in time. Hence, we hope our newspaper can be one of the mediums for students to gain the information about our university directly.

“Nothing but authentic”

The slogan not only as a sign that demonstrates our newspaper authenticity, but also as a guideline in all the time that warns us as a reporter, we should only look for the truth, to best serve the rights of our audiences and then build up the prestige of our newspaper.

At the end, we wish we are able to provide a platform that can share the experiences and opinions for students of Universiti Malaya and cultivate students' concern for current affairs in future. And this online newspaper will be able to inform the audiences about the events or incidents that happen in Universiti Malaya in the week and raise awareness among students about the issues happening in Universiti Malaya.
