Universiti Malaya come back to life after 1 year of lockdown.

KUALA LUMPUR: Universiti Malaya resume operation gradually after 1 year of lockdown from October 2020 to October 2021 with the slowly recover of Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia.


In order to prevent the second outbreak of Covid-19, Universiti Malaya has announced a total lockdown of university and fully online learning system in collab with Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from government in October 2020.


On 6 October 2021, a housekeeping activity include all personnel in Universiti Malaya have been held to make sure the area of university is clean and safe for the physical registration starting from 15 October.

The activities that have been conducted including auditorium disinfection, cleaning up leaves and rubbish in the university are and repainting the road line.

Credit to the housekeeping activity, the physical registration on 15 October have been conducted in a safe and clean environment. All the people are following SOP and wearing a face mask.
